About
We are looking for a new teammate who will develop frontends that will make users of the follow.fashion data platform. follow.fashion is a knowledge graph powered platform that offers competitor analysis in terms of design options and pricing. It helps retailers to sell the right products at the right prices and helps manufacturers to design the right products.
The follow.fashion development team is located in Ege University Technopark, Izmir, Turkey, and the international operation is currently held by the office in San Francisco. The follow.fashion team constantly affords to deliver innovative features to its customers using cutting edge technologies.
Expectations
You will deliver high-performance and high-quality user interfaces in the front-end team. We will expect you to pay the required minimum attention to the documentation and take responsibility for bringing new features to the scene.
We expect you to follow the latest improvements in front-end development and to contribute to the common knowledge of the organization. You should be able to communicate in English with foreign customers and teammates in an international environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (minimum 4 years for the senior position / minimum 1 year for the junior position)
- Experience with a component-based framework like Angular, React, and Vue.js
- Experience in developing cross-browser responsive web user interfaces
- Knowing software engineering best practices including agile development, coding standards, code reviews, testing, and maintenance
- Knowing test-driven development
Bonus Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in the Jasmine test framework
- Experience in tools like webpack, grunt, gulp, phantomjs, browserstack, yeoman, bower, npm, etc.
- Understanding of user experience design
- Experience in micro frontends architecture
- Experience in web/mobile hybrid application development tools like Ionic, Capacitor, Cordova, React Native
